Appointment of the Head of the Ardabil Science and Technology Park
The Minister of Science, Research and Technology issued a decree appointing Dr. Habib Ebrahimpour as the Head of the Ardabil Science and Technology Park. According to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Science, the text of the decree appointing Dr. Hossein Simaei to Dr. Habib Ebrahimpour is as follows: In view of your commitment, expertise and valuable experiences, and in accordance with the proposal of the Honorable Deputy Minister of Technology and Innovation, you are hereby appointed as the "Head of the Ardabil Science and Technology Park". It is hoped that by following Islamic teachings, scientific principles and paying attention to the basic strategies of the Government of National Accord and the programs presented to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, you will play a worthy role in achieving the goals of the science, technology and innovation system, especially the development of the park, growth centers and solving the problems of advanced technology units and established knowledge-based institutions. It is expected that the following will be included in the executive priorities of your Excellency. Full implementation of the announced policies and continuous interaction with the Deputy of Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Ataf. Pursuing matters related to the development of physical and technological infrastructures in order to improve the quantity and quality of services required by technology units. Developing an operational mechanism to realize the authority and diplomacy of technology and innovation and monitoring emerging technologies. Striving for the mission orientation of the park and creating technology hubs. Interacting with relevant national and provincial executive agencies to provide financial resources and attract relevant credits. Helping to attract investors for technology-based projects and related infrastructures and forming innovation capacity with a focus on the private sector. Helping to increase effective and targeted interactions between science and technology centers and constructive interactions with other economic institutions, executive agencies, and industries of the province. Pursuing the utilization of legal resources related to the field of technology and innovation, including the provisions of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law, with emphasis on Article 11 of this law. Dr. Habib Ebrahimpour (1974) graduated from Allameh Tabatabaei University with a degree in public administration and is a faculty member of Mohaghegh Ardabili University with the rank of professor. He served as the director of the Ardabil Provincial Science and Technology Park from 2018 to 2022, the director of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities, the deputy for education and postgraduate education, and the deputy for research of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Mohaghegh Ardabili University, and the chairman of the Tourism, Agriculture, and Economy Commission of the Ardabil Provincial Chamber of Commerce. The Minister of Science also expressed his appreciation for the efforts and hard work of Dr. Yousef Abbaspour, the former director of the Ardabil Provincial Science and Technology Park, during his tenure.
